Quartz countertops are engineered stone, each Quartz slab is created through a manufacturing process that mixes approximately 95 percent ground natural quartz, other raw materials, 5 percent polymer resins, and different pigments.
Quartz is nonporous, nonabsorbent and is sealed for life.
Quartz slabs are available with polished, matte or honed, and textured surface finishes (dependent upon the brand) .
